UWEZO PROGRAM ALUMNI

My name is Elia Sereka (Sales Doctor), my journey with the UWEZO Program began in 2018 when I participated as a student at Temeke Secondary School. The skills and values I gained from the program have profoundly shaped my career and personal development.

In 2020, I had the opportunity to give back by volunteering as the coordinator for UWEZO AWARD project in Temeke District. This role taught me the importance of responsibility and seizing opportunities, which were key lessons I learned from my leaders and co-coordinators.

I decided to focus on Economics and Social Networks, which led me to establish my own business online. Today, I help entrepreneurs market and sell their products through social media. I’ve had the privilege of traveling to over 10 regions, connecting with network marketers, and serving more than 2,500 traders across countries like Kenya, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Mozambique.

I am incredibly proud to be a product of the UWEZO PROGRAM. The knowledge and skills I acquired have not only empowered me but have also allowed me to make a positive impact on others in the business community.”
